Principle event planner and designer Jules Rupae is best known for her genuine passion in producing exquisite events, and consistently exceeding her client’s expectations. She is professional, fun, highly creative, dynamic, and energetic; and has extraordinary attention to detail and impeccable organizational skills. Whether it be assisting a client in putting together and coordinating a week-long family reunion for 70 people flying in from various countries around the world; to producing a magical wedding or large-scale non-profit event – Jules has the experience, tools, resources, relationships and expertise to deliver exceptional results, and to make every event a success!
With over 20 years of experience in event design, production and management, Jules has brought a higher standard of professionalism to the Portland event planning scene; and prides herself in producing unique, one-of-a-kind events for her clients. She began her career in event planning while serving as a department manager at Nordstrom, producing dozens of fashion shows, trunk shows, and events of all different shapes and sizes for the Nordstrom shopper throughout her 9-year tenure. She then had the extreme pleasure of working for American Show Management for just over 7 years, under the direction of Pat Kearney. At that time, American Show Management was North America’s largest producer of regional tradeshows, exhibitions and conferences; with 84 events nationally, produced in 13 countries. It was here where she had the opportunity to work one on one with technology giants such as Intel, Gateway, Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, Apple, Xerox, and many others, in customizing face-to-face exposure opportunities that met the client’s marketing objectives, and effectively getting them in front of high level buyers of their products and services. This was done through thoughtful planning and successfully executing hundreds of seminars, keynotes, new product launches, best practice’s, breakfasts, luncheons, cocktail receptions, networking events, and tradeshows annually.
In 2003 Jules decided to leave corporate America to do what she loved, hoping that the money would follow. It was her love of producing events that came about the creation of Jules Rupae Events; formerly known as Another Perfect Production, LLC.
